Anil Sheokumar

Director of Operations

Anil Sheokumar is an executive with more than a decade of experience directly supporting senior leadership, managing high-impact initiatives, and improving operational efficiency across multiple levels of government. Anil earned his undergraduate degree in social work and is pursuing his master’s degree in business. He has long been deeply committed to advocacy, justice, and helping people navigate systems that too often work against them—values that continue to shape his dedication to the law and a client-centered approach in all his work.

Before joining ChaudhryLaw PLLC as Director of Operations, Anil held several positions in the public sector supporting legal and executive operations. Most recently, he served as Project Manager in the Executive Division at the Office of the New York State Attorney General (OAG), where he managed large-scale operational initiatives and special projects that supported over 2,200 employees across multiple divisions. His work included developing compliance systems that significantly improved attorney workflows and helping to lead the Office’s adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI). He also served as Executive Assistant to the Chief Deputy Attorney General for Economic Justice, General Counsel, and Chief Ethics Officer, helping to manage the day-to-day operations for a division of over 200 attorneys and support staff. During his tenure at the OAG, Anil received the Superior Service Award for outstanding performance and the Special Award for Commitment to Ethics for demonstrating the highest standards of ethics and integrity as a public servant.

Earlier in his public service career, Anil served as a Constituent Services Associate at the Office of the New York City Public Advocate, where he managed a high-volume caseload of constituent matters and worked directly with city agencies to help New Yorkers resolve housing, safety, and public assistance issues. Through that work, he assisted vulnerable New Yorkers in avoiding homelessness and maintaining access to critical resources during periods of crisis and instability.

He brings that same operational discipline and institutional experience to ChaudhryLaw PLLC—maintaining the systems, processes, and infrastructure to support the firm’s attorneys in delivering the highest level of client service and advocacy.
