Robert Glenn is a second-career lawyer who chose to attend law school to pursue his longstanding desire of becoming a criminal defense trial lawyer. Joining ChaudhryLaw PLLC represents the fulfillment of that desire.
Before coming to the firm, Robert practiced with the Litigation Group at the New Jersey Law Journal’s 2021 Law Firm of the Year for its involvement in high-profile matters throughout the region. While there, he served as an Associate on various matters, including SEC and New Jersey Bureau of Securities investigations, state and federal False Claims Act violations, New Jersey Attorney General’s Office official misconduct investigations, United States Attorney’s Office fraud investigations, and a wide array of complex civil litigations.
Robert’s background in criminal law includes a judicial clerkship with former Assistant United States Attorney, the Honorable Robert Kirsch, J.S.C., of the New Jersey Superior Court, Criminal Division. Additionally, while still a student, he served as a Student Assistant District Attorney with the Manhattan D.A.’s Office, where he third-seated a child murder trial, second-seated a misdemeanor child abuse trial, and first-seated and won a Wade/Huntley/Dunaway hearing.
During law school, Robert interned for a boutique law firm engaged in white collar criminal, employment, class action, commercial, and regulatory matters, and he served full-time for four months as a judicial intern for the Honorable Vincent L. Briccetti of the U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York. Robert was also the first, first-year law student ever selected for the Benedict Morelli Trial Team. Finally, Robert was an Associate Editor and Staff Editor for the Cardozo Law Review, where his Note on litigation finance was one of only twelve student articles selected for publication.
Robert graduated cum laude from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University, where he was a Dean’s Merit Scholar, and upon graduation, was awarded the Jacob Burns Medal for Outstanding Contribution to the Law School.
Prior to attending law school, Robert worked with non-profit and commercial organizations to help them develop and execute their strategic plans and collaborated with executives to improve their organizational design and leadership.
Robert studied trombone performance at Ithaca College and eventually earned his B.A. in English Literature from Rutgers University.
